This work refers to the risks of extreme political and societal polarization in these current times of global war and devastation. This indigo lady in a dress with white roses symbolizes the need for tolerance and lasting peace. The white rose is a sign of resistance (the White Rose Student resistant movement during WWII) but also of innocence, hope and new beginnings. She is wearing a traditional turban or keffiyeh headdress as a powerful symbol of solidarity, freedom and self-determination. This in tribute of the Gaza people and especially the children….
